Terms and Conditions

By booking an appointment with a massage therapist at Andrea’s Touch, you agree to their Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice.

 

Inappropriate Behaviour

Inappropriate behavior of any form towards staff will result in being asked to leave immediately without a refund. This includes requests for sexual favors or any behavior that makes the therapist feel intimidated or embarrassed. Bullying will not be tolerated. Any attempts to book in the future after being banned will result in being asked to leave immediately without a refund.

 

Lost Property

Andrea’s Touch is not responsible for lost property left on the premises. Staff will take care of items left behind and hand them to the manager for safekeeping for 6 months.

 

Appointments

Appointments can be made online, via Treatwell or by telephone. Cancellation and late arrival conditions still apply.

 

If booked via Treatwell, you will receive an email confirmation and a reminder 48 hours before your appointment if the booking is more than 2 days in advance.

 

New clients will receive a New Client Consultation Form to complete before their appointment. Clients should arrive 10 minutes early to complete the form, as treatment cannot be given without these details. Returning clients must complete a brief update form.

 

Cancellations & Late Arrivals

Cancellation Policy: 24 hours.

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to attend with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full cost of the appointment. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice is not possible and will be charged at the full cost of the booking.

 

Late Arrival

Adherence to the agreed appointment time and duration is important. Andrea’s Touch is not liable for time lost due to traffic incidents or roadworks. Clients failing to attend for their pre-booked treatment and who have not informed us of any delay en route, we allow 20 minutes until the appointment is null and void and the treatment cannot be given. If the client is delayed, only the remaining time will be available for their treatment.

 

Package Deals

If a customer purchases a package of massage treatments and finds the treatment unsuitable, an alternative massage treatment will be offered as the only alternative. Packages are non-refundable but may be changed within the relevant price range of alternatives.

 

Confidentiality

All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded and remain confidential. Information will not be shared, sold, or distributed without consent, unless required by law.

 

Consultations and treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under 18 or has a care worker or guardian. Security measures are in place to protect your information. Personal data will be retained only for a reasonable period of time or as long as the law requires. Each therapist will have access to records only for the duration of their employment and to provide appropriate treatments.

 

Health & Safety

All therapists are qualified and covered by professional and public indemnity insurance. All practitioners maintain high standards of personal hygiene, and clients are requested to do the same. Clients are reminded that if they are in the habit of not wearing underwear, this is not acceptable for a salon environment and they must be suitably clothed.

 

Therapists who are unwell will not be allowed to work due to the risk of cross-contamination. Clients are advised not to attend if they are unwell. If in doubt, please reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment time.

 

Andrea’s Touch is unable to accept bookings from clients under 18 years of age, either alone or in the company of a parent or guardian. 

 

Andrea’s Touch retains the right to refuse treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive, demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive, or sexual behavior, or does not wear appropriate levels of underwear. Such behavior will result in a ban and may result in criminal proceedings.

 

Pregnant or postpartum clients, or those with medical conditions or undergoing treatment, should be aware that not all massages are suitable. Clients should consult their medical practitioner for advice. Only fully qualified pregnancy massage therapists are offered for pregnancy massage. If the client has booked in error a beauty treatment may be offered if suitable staff are available. Otherwise no refund is available.

 

Disclaimer

Andrea’s Touch provides massage therapy and bodywork, but these are not a substitute for professional medical care or counseling. Therapists will not diagnose, prescribe medication or medical treatment, unless individually qualified to do so, and will always recommend referral to a GP or other qualified medical specialist or practitioner.

 

Clients must provide accurate and true medical and personal information and keep Andrea’s Touch informed of any changes in medication, symptoms, medical concerns, or treatments. 

 

All therapists may decline treatment with just and reasonable cause. Andrea’s Touch reserves the right to terminate any appointment if it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue. Clients have the right to refuse, modify, or terminate their treatment at any point, regardless of prior consent given.

 

Personal items should be kept with you, and Andrea’s Touch is not responsible for any damage or loss of such items.

Massage Package Terms and Conditions

1. Package Description

The following prepaid massage packages are available:

• Five 60 minute massage sessions for £300
• Five 90 minute massage sessions for £400

Each package consists of five sessions only and must be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Validity Period

All massage packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase.

Any unused sessions remaining after the expiration date will be automatically forfeited and cannot be used, refunded, credited, or extended for any reason.

No reminders or notifications regarding expiry are guaranteed. It is the client’s responsibility to track usage and validity.

3. No Refunds

All massage packages are strictly non refundable.

Once purchased, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind
• Change of availability
• Medical reasons
• Injury
• Travel or relocation
• Dissatisfaction not related to professional negligence

By purchasing a package, the client expressly waives any right to a refund.

4. Non Transferability

Massage packages are personal and non transferable.

Sessions cannot be shared, gifted, resold, exchanged, or transferred to another person under any circumstances.

The name on the booking and purchase must match the individual receiving the treatment. Identification may be requested.

5. Session Usage

• Each session must be booked in advance and is subject to availability
• Sessions cannot be split into shorter treatments
• Sessions cannot be combined unless explicitly agreed in advance
• Packages cannot be exchanged for cash, discounts, or other services

Any deviation from the package structure is at the sole discretion of the business.

6. Cancellation and No Show Policy

If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the client does not attend the appointment, the session will be considered used and deducted from the package.

Late arrivals will result in a shortened session to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings. The full session will still be deducted.

7. Medical Responsibility

Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications prior to treatment.

The business reserves the right to refuse or modify treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate. In such cases, sessions are not refundable.

8. Right to Refuse Service

The business reserves the right to refuse treatment or terminate a session at any time due to inappropriate behaviour, lack of respect, or breach of professional boundaries.

In such cases, the session will be considered used and no refund will be issued.

9. Price Changes

Package prices are locked at the time of purchase. Future price changes do not affect already purchased packages.

10. Agreement

By purchasing a massage package, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

No exceptions will be made outside of what is written here.
